This Chinese dialogue has lots of useful sentences to be learnt! It’s a fairly informal conversation.
你妈妈在哪里工作？
小明：小红，你妈妈做菜可真好吃。
小红：是啊，我妈妈是厨师。
小明：真的吗？你妈妈在哪里工作？
小红：她在一个西餐厅工作，她做的牛排特别好吃。
小明：那个西餐厅在哪？我想和女朋友一起去吃。
小红：就在市中心。
小明：Xiao Hong, your mother’s cooking is really delicious.
小红：Yes! My mother is a chef.
小明：Really? Where does your mother work?
小红：She works at a western restaurant. She can good a really good steak!
小明：Where is this western restaurant? I want to take my girlfriend there.
小红：It’s in the city centre.
